Oh family. I have so much to say (and probably nothing too important haha) and the clock is already ticking against me. Pressure! First off let me apologize for my awful handwritten letter home. Sorry Mom. haha. Second of all, if any of you have sent me letters I will be getting them shortly after this email, so I can't answer any questions or anything. But I'll just tell you about everything instead.
So I'm always hungry and when its time to eat, I can't eat. I'm always tired and when its time to go to bed, I can't. haha. I froze the first two nights until I figured out where the extra blankets and pillows were. I sleep on a top bunk. And I haven't slept too soundly yet. But its just fine. The first couple days I kept waking up way before the alarm, because my alarm clock works, but it doesn't light up at night, so I never know what time it is. Also every single night I've been here so far, I've forgotten to take out my contacts before I go to bed, and end up just laying there and chucking them across the room. My poor sisters might find some interesting things in their clothes. Our room is still a disaster, but two sisters are moving out tomorrow and I don't think we'll get new ones. So it'll just be the four sisters in our district. Which will be nice. And I will be straightway moving to the bottom bunk. The food here is okayy.....But again, just fine.
So I really like our district. We are starting to have a lot of fun with each other. I really really love our teachers. They are so amazing. Truly inspiring. It's so fun to be here and sing together and pray 20 times a day together, NO matter where you are. Everyone goes around practicing contacting on each other (which we haven't done yet). It's pretty cool. I have much to learn, and so feel my weaknesses, but here you just all learn and grow together, encouraging each other one step at a time. We get to teach in the little room where they watch you behind one way glass tomorrow! Yeeha! Bring it. Ok, it'll probably be scary, but I'm still excited.
I've already seen Addison Rice, Sister Jenkins, Jori Neff, Kira Good, Elder Fields and a few others I can't think of. But anyway, I'm sure I'm going to see Shanna a lot when she gets here. You can't help it. We've watched some inspiring videos, last night we watched those old LDS commercials, it was hilarious. Sunday was a little bit of a nice break.
So everything is great here! It's busy all the time, but I'm happy. I feel like I've already been here weeks. I could definitely see how you could blink and 18 months would be over with. Sorry it isn't that way for you :). We went to the temple this morning, I was SO excited to go, haha and it hadn't even been a week since we went! Yesterday we also got to participate in the Oquirrah Temple Dedication just here on the MTC campus. It was good. That was the most tired I've been and the hardest it was to stay awake so far! We sat on the bleachers and when we'd all stand up together, they would sway, it was freaky haha.
Everything is just goood. Mom and Dad thank you so much for your letters, I love you two so much. I'm keeping those with me!! Oh and the picture I have on my camera of you two kissing me is seriously my favorite. The one of me and Mike is pretty good too! Sorry you'll have to wait so long to see them. I love you all soo much! Keep praying for me to work hard, I definitely want to see some real growth out of myself. It is tough though. Oh and the second day I was here, I found a little butterfly magnet from those kids books in my suitcase, courtesy of Savanna. haha Thanks Savanna :) I'll mail it home someday. OH and tell Sheynah the Sister Billings she wanted me to meet is in my district, in my room, and flying out with me!
