Last Wednesday on preparation day, we went to the beach for a zone activity. It was so fun. The assistants grilled hamburgers and we played football down in the sand. It was really windy and slightly cold, but we were all just so happy to be out and playing! I got some good pictures. It was funny, President Simpson showed up for a little while and kept saying how COLD it was! He could barely stand it and kept asking us how we could stand it. haha. Some Elder was like, "President, if we can be out knocking in it for hours a day, we can play in it." haha So true. It wasn't too bad to all of us, I guess we've been truly acclimatized. Woot!

Then that night I got sick with the flu! We had to come in early because I really wasn't feeling good. And then I woke up in the middle of the night and threw up a couple of times. So fun. Pretty much my favorite. I figure it has been about a year since I've thrown up, I was probably due haha. Sorry to fill you all in. I had to take it easy the next day. But we had some appointments that finally came through for us and there was no way I wasn't to make them!! So I put on a good face for a little while and then came back to the apartment and crashed. I didn't eat a thing all day. BUT I am feeling all better now. Thank goodness. I think I've had my fill for awhile.

It's been an interesting week, with many things going on.....For much of the week, I've been reflecting on Amherst, and my time in Halifax. Many interesting memories! But cool to see growth and changes, in myself and everywhere around me. It's been kind of a trippy perspective week. And then we went to a YSA Fireside with our branch at the mission home Sunday night and President Simpson is like, "You're moving Sister Olsen. And Sister Crofts is training." We were shocked...!! I was sad immediately to think of leaving this place.....but he wouldn't tell me where! And anyway, just yesterday we found out I'm going to Eastern Passage! Not too far away! So...sisters I don't think have ever served there. Right now there are Elders, but they will move out and we will move in. I've heard it's really small, and like fisherman community, but has pretty beaches. First off, crazy. But I am SO EXCITED to still be in the same zone!! And still in the Metro!! I will get to go to the temple still, and see all the missionaries. I think we will be driving a van. There is no chapel there, so we will go to the one right next to the temple in the Cole Harbor Ward. I don't even know if they have their own Superstore out there. So I might be around in Dartmouth quite a bit, who knows. It's going to be a weird change. But I'm excited. AND I'm serving with Sister Billings! She is finally leaving Amherst and we will be companions! I'm excited to see what we both have learned with 9 months apart. So that's my story. Packing is already a nightmare. I think I've accumulated too much here! Oh well. And last week I just got a lot of new good food, and so I've been trying to eat all the fresh stuff up...Craziness. Sister Crofts is nervous to train. She's only 3 months out! And there are two others in line before her to train, so obviously she's amazing. Which I already knew. Transfers are fun, with all the changes, and seeing other missionaries, and eating at the mission home .......But I'm excited to get settled again. I'm SO SAD to leave our investigators. Things just seemed to be picking back up again and going so well! Last Sunday we had three investigators at church! And have had more lessons this week..........but I'm excited that I'll be close to get all the updates on how everyone is. I hate goodbyes.

So things are even more green and beautiful here, if you can imagine!!!! I love this beautiful place. I've decided that Halifax is much more beautiful than Dartmouth. I can say that, I served there, and yes I'm biased. But really, it's so amazing in Halifax.

Last story of the day.......the other night we had had quite the day, and (oh by the way we are for real car less here in Halifax again permanently) were walking home from the bus stop. I was just looking forward to getting home. AND.......a bird sitting up on a telephone wire pooped on me. What a great way to end the day haha.
Well I've got to get going now.

I love you all!! Hope you're doing great! Don't be a stranger, and keep in touch!
