Sooo its been a busy, but really good week. I have really felt the Spirit in our finding and teaching this week! Some of the people we met on the street, I just knew we were supposed to talk to and I really felt the Spirit in what we shared. It's been great. I don't know why we forget sometimes and try to do things not the Lord's way. Yes, doing it the Lord's way still requires effort, but not the kicking against the pricks kind -- the kind that makes things smoother and you are happier as a result of it.
So we volunteer at the MFRC (Military Family Resourse Center) every week. And this week we got to go with them to welcome in a ship that was coming in from deployment. The ship was out somewhere crazy I don't remember where, fighting terrorism and piracy. Anyway, it was so great! We got to pass out things and mingle with the family who were waiting on the dock for the ship. You could just feel the excitment in the air....! I was excited for these families! And then the ship rolled in....all the men and women were out on deck in uniform. Everyone was waving and cheering, it was like a parade! The first guy in uniform to get off got a proposal. There were many hugs and tears and little children so excited to see "their real Dad!" haha. Anyway, it was a great thing to be a part of for Sister Crofts and I. I have such a deep appreciation and respect for those that serve in the military, of ANY country!
So running after buses and planning complicated days, I have to say, I am a master planner! haha Ok, that's not true. Because it's the Spirit. But I am amazed at the situations and things that we are continually able to work through out here because of the Spirit.
Well I think that is all for this week. I love you all! Go and serve someone today! We all need each other, go brighten someone's day. Have a great week.
