Well this week amazingly has gone fast. Shona our investigator is doing really well! She is the most prepared person I have ever met. But the baptism is going to take some time. Her husband isn't really for learning and won't even hear a word of it, and it’s hard for her. Because it's now becoming a big part of her; the truth that she now understands. We are all praying for his heart to be softened. And for her to have the strength to do what she knows she needs too. All in good time. She understands that. Honestly, her husband is a little intimidating to us haha. We had a lesson at her house last night and he barely acknowledged us. And when he did speak, I couldn't understand a word he was saying! They have thick Newfoundland accents when they get going! Aye aye aye.

As for knocking we've had some really good contacts, but nothing has come of them yet. It's so frustrating to have to wait for the right timing in all things. There are many people we've met that will either be dropped or we'll end up teaching, but for some reason we're just waiting for things to fall off the fence one way or the other....

We did however have a really good lesson last week in a Tim Horton’s (that's a coffee shop, like our Starbucks). His story is that he couldn't sleep one night and so got online, ended up on our website, and requested a bible. We called him to try and set something up....and we ended up meeting in Tim Horton’s the next day (he lives really far away, and happened to be close by). I was kind of nervous because I haven't had many GREAT experiences with coffee shop meetings, but it went really well! We were able to share with him the Book of Mormon and explain its role, and he accepted it and wants to learn more!.......after our meeting he decided to come out to church the next day and see what it was like. But he ended up getting called into work. BUT we talked to him a few days ago and he still has a great interest in coming this Sunday, so we'll see where that goes!

I better run now, but I love you all and thank you for all you do!
Have a great week!
Sister Jen Olsen
