Some pretty fall leaves on a little walkway that goes through this residential neighborhood. They have these little walkways/ shortcuts through the neighborhoods everywhere here so we're kind of in people's backyards.

Today is dark and drearily foggy (in Nova Scotia)....! You can barely see haha. But at least it has warmed up as a result of all the rain and fog and cloud cover!
It's been a good week. We had stake conference this weekend. We as missionaries only got to go to the Sunday session (I was bummed cause I heard Saturday session was amazing). It was in Halifax in an auditorium on Dal Campus. It was so fun to see Halifax again. How I love that place. It is so beautiful in the summer and fall. The trees completely hang over the streets and cover whole streets of these residential neighborhoods. It's so pretty! But anyway. It was a different stake conference than I'm used to, but really good! During the whole thing I couldn't help but think how these people are so diffferent. Their own breed. And oh my goodness, how I love them!!! I'm going to be so sad to leave them one day! It's so cool, looking back over my mission even now, I can see so many experiences that have been tailor made for me. I'm so grateful for the things I have learned and am learning....!!!

This week a bunch of Zone leaders came down for zone council and one got a flat tire and somehow they finagled our car out of us. So sad! Trade our brand new car for one with a flat tire that's in the shop haha. I'm pretty sure it's a conspiracy on their part. But what can you do when it comes from the top? But in all the exchange, I got to see Elder Rogers (who I came out with). It was so fun to see him and some other Elders I haven't seen in awhile. Once they get put on the rock (Newfoundland), you rarely get to see them. It's so remote, they even get to fly there back and forth. I've heard it's pretty rough to serve up there. But I'm still waiting for the day they open it again to Sisters. Because sooo many of the nice people I have met here, are from Newfoundland. Shona is from there. I love when she says things like, "Love ye!" or "Are ye cold?" hahaha. Gotta love the Newfoundland way of talking.

Anyway, we had a really good lesson with Dave this week. I really felt the Spirit there and felt so empowered as we taught. I came away from that lesson happy. He is doing really well.......It's kind of sad that he is the only investigator we are teaching right now. But, I'm sure that will change.

So........transfers are next week, I'll let you all know what happens!
Have a great week!!
