Thanks for the emails! I love hearing what you're up to. Mom, how dare you ever teach good things about spiders! haha. Sounds like things are picking up with fall at BYUI. Good place to be! The steps look AMAZING!! Holy smokes Greg! I love our house, it's so cute. Thanks for sending that stuff off mom! I knew you'd be on top of it.I can't wait to get it! Feel free to send some of those fruit leathers in the future...haha. Dad, you'd be happy to know that I am now addicted to this organic crunchy peanut butter....I eat it with bananas and apples regularly. It's my weakness these days. Strange haha. I hope the pictures of me traveling all day aren't too scary! President and Sister Simpson are great. So first off, HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO JEFF on sunday!!! And HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO BILL this friday!!! Love you my brothers. Hope it's a good one. Shanna was telling me that she thought she might get transferred down - how stinkin cool! And Ryan, that is so sad. I will pray for him.

So I'll tell you a little bit more about Amherst, and then the people we're teaching. The weather here is crazy. The other day it was bitterly cold and windy. Then the next was just windy. Then it was nice and I got burnt. And then today is cloudy and dreary. haha. Fam you should look up a more deatiled map of Nova Scotia - you know how I said everyone lives on a lake, well you should look at the lakes, they're EVERYWHERE. Pretty cool. Anyway. There are different things they say here. A coupld words that you can really hear the Canadian accent on (tomorrow, sorry, again, house, out....). It's already having it's effects on me haha. Lunch is dinner. And dinner is supper. The bathroom is the washroom. Everyone takes off their shoes in houses. Even in the temple here. You first walk into a coat room and take off your shoes before you show your recommend and enter. They love to talk your ear off. When they talk they do this thing called the Nova Scotia suck. I don't even know how to explain it to you. But they say yes and no as they breathe in. It's just like a wispy, breathy yes or no. I dunno. Everyone is curtious drivers. But here in Amherst it seems like hardly anyone has cars. There are members of the branch who are inactive just because they have no way to get there. Lots of smoking issues in this area. There are a few houses we've been in I thought I would die, gave me a really bad headache. It's extremely refreshing to go into a home that smells nice. Even more refreshing when its clean. They are for some reason rare-ish. haha.

Two fun events of the week: On our way back from sisters conference, my companion was merging on the highway and so was looking behind her and our tire went off the road in the biggest pot hole EVER. We bent the rim on our tire and got a flat tire. Some guy pulled over to help us and it was all dandy. But anyway, on sunday, my companion misplaced the keys. And so had someone come to open the car, weren't in there. Had to have it towed the next day, get new keys made, move district meeting....la dee la dee da. End of story, we have the car. A lady in the branch found our keys after all this, of course. So now we have some extras. haha. It was so ridiculous. But what can you do.

So we visit a lot of less actives. We've had to drop some investigators, they just have no desire to change right now. We've been knocking and street contacting. Gave away a BOM. Scary but good stuff. I'm sorry I don't know what to tell you. Every day is busy. Most are good. Yesterday no one was home and plans fell through ALL DAY LONG. It was kind of miserable. But when we're busy, we're good. I'm determined to get good at teaching. My trainer seems to think I'm doing so good and that she's has nothing to teach me. Not true. I have much to experience and learn. I taught gospel principles on sunday. Found out saturday night. But it went well. Lots of people here need so much help. I'm going to be more prepared next time and tell you about specific experiences. I love you all so much. Hope your doing SO good. Keep praying for me! I pray for you always! Love Sister Olsen P.S. I tried to send you some pictures, but it wouldn't let me, I'm SO SAD! Someday you'll see. :( haha
