So, because most of our district is leaving Monday, we got approved to do laundry and email today (Saturday). But Halifax people aren't leaving until Tuesday, so I might get to email you again.....We'll see.
So, before I forget: my flight plans.....I got them a while ago.....
We leave Tuesday from SLC at 8am on Delta (although I have to be out the door here by 5, boo). We land in Cincinnati around 1:30 and are there until 2:05. Then we board another plain and arrive in Toronto at 3:39. THEN we leave there at 5:30 and fly from Toronto to Halifax.....landing around 8:30pm. So there's the plan. I hope that makes sense, flight plans rarely make sense to me. I have no idea when I'll be calling. Maybe by Monday I'll have a clearer picture. But I'm pretty sure I can call you separate if you’re at work and stuff. And I bet I can call Mike in Atlanta too. Sorry I can't tell you more than that! Also, I might try to email you some pictures just for fun on Monday if I can. Just so you can see what all these peeps look like and stuff. :)
So the update on Sister Gay....she had to be admitted to the hospital Monday night and ended up going home on medical leave. BUT once they find out what is wrong and get it under control, she can fly straight out to Canada. It was really hard saying goodbye to her, but I'm still praying for her and can't WAIT to see her there! Thanks for supporting her! She's amazing.
So that leaves me, Sister Billings and Elder Rogers flying out to Canada. Sister Billings will be drugged up on dramamine because she has a severe fear of flying, so overall it could be an interesting flight. haha.
So, sorry for the chastisement last time with the dear elders not going through right, I found out that there is a Hermana Jennifer Olsen here and she sometimes gets my mail and I get hers. But so far so ok.
I've seen Elder Ryan Josephson here a few times! He looks really happy, so pass that along to his parents! :)
It's so fun to see the newbies come each week. I love it. It's so fun to see them with their families. Not sad at all, I get so excited for them!
Anyway, I'm not looking forward to goodbyes next week. I seriously love these people so much. I love our disfunctional district! haha It's going to be hard to let the Texan's go and then have a whole day to ourselves, and then to also say goodbye to my fellow Canadians once I get there!
So I found this scripture in 1 Cor. 15:10 that perfectly describes what I think I told you last time, about the grace of Christ, and me being here on His errand. It's a good one. I love studying the scriptures here, and teaching - man, I really like it. It feels so good and comfortable to sit and let the Spirit work through me to help others. It's truly a great feeling.
I'm going to miss the teachers here too, they've been amazing! We've gotten a little shuffled around with a few different teachers, but it's been so great. The Lord definitely meets my needs each day as I have them. At the end of the day, all is always resolved through others.
Well last but not least, I just want to thank Mom and Dad for being you. And raising me the way you have. It's amazing to be here and see the differences in how people were raised, and it is so evident to me, that I truly have been given choice parents. So thanks Mom and Dad, for all you teach and all you represent. I love you! :)
Well that is all, I'll hopefully email you Monday and then talk to you Tuesday! (And then I'm pretty sure my p-days are on Wed. in Canada haha)
LOVE YOU ALL SO MUCH!
